Online, Virtual: Tailoring your Communication Style

Inter-personal skills are increasingly being seen as one of the key skills everyone will need to master to succeed in their careers.

As technology takes over smaller tasks in our lives, being able to communicate ideas effectively and collaborate with others is what will make you stand out. But the challenge is, we all like to communicate in different ways.

This interactive session is all about communication. By the end of it you’ll be able to:

• Identify how you prefer to communicate
• Identify how people around you prefer to communicate
• Tailor your communication style to the person you’re speaking to
• Master non-verbal communication
• Adapt your approach based on the method of communication (i.e. in-person or online)

 Resources will be provided afterwards which you can refer back to.

This session is online, so you can join from anywhere. There will be opportunities to discuss communication challenges you’ve faced recently and look at how these can be avoided in future.
