Brews & Bites with Ethan Todd – Backlanz

Join Export Southland for the next Brews & Bites networking event featuring Ethan Todd, founder of Backlanz and winner of the 2024 Southland Export Innovation Award.
Founded in Invercargill in 2018, Backlanz designs and manufactures ultra-lightweight rifle bipods and shooting accessories using advanced materials including 3D printed titanium, carbon fibre and precision-machined components.

What began as a product for New Zealand hunters has grown into an internationally recognised export business supplying customers around the world. 
Ethan will share the Backlanz story, from product development and exporting challenges through to exhibiting at international trade shows, entering new global markets and gaining attention from major international industry players. He will also discuss the realities of scaling an innovative Southland business for worldwide growth.

This relaxed evening is a great opportunity to connect with fellow exporters, aspiring exporters and businesses supporting the export sector in our region. Enjoy a brew and a pie while hearing another inspiring Southland export story.
