The Business Behind the Baking

Join us for a special BA8 (Business After 8am) with Kaye’s Bakery and enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at one of Southland’s well-known local businesses.

Hear from Luella Penniall about the Kaye’s Bakery story, which began in 1978, and step inside their Invercargill production area for a guided look through the bakery’s manufacturing space.

Attendees will see large-scale baking equipment, production and packing operations, freezer and storage facilities, and the workshop that helps keep the business moving. You’ll also have the chance to explore Kaye’s impressive meeting room, filled with memorabilia and history from over the years.

Spaces are limited due to tour group sizes, so early registration is recommended.
