Courageous Conversations
The standard we ignore or excuse, is the standard we approve. In these days of tight margins, reduced resources, and increased expectations, maximising ‘individual’ performance through clear accountabilities and confident leadership, has become central to the continued success of any business. This one-day workshop looks at the deliberate skills and actions required to deal with poor performance, non-compliance, and negative attitudes in the work place – permanently.
Programme overview
Courageous Conversations is a pragmatic look at the skills, scripting, and process necessary to empathically address these undesirable behaviours both at work and within our wider communities. Learn how to navigate the challenges of difficult staff and the positive outcomes that can occur when addressed swiftly, decisively, and with authentic empathy.
This workshop provides the skills and scripting required to deal with poor performance or non-compliance as soon as it happens, before it becomes a problem. Attendees will learn day to day essential coaching skills and will gain the knowledge required to competently execute a clearly defined 3-step process while treating their staff with fairness and dignity at all times.
