HWR Hydrogen is at the forefront of sustainable transportation solutions. As one of the first companies in New Zealand to build a hydrogen station, we're leading the charge towards a cleaner future. We're also committed to upgrading and transitioning our HWR heavy vehicle fleet from diesel trucks to dual-fuel (hydrogen-diesel) vehicles. Our innovative technology not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions and improves air quality, but it also helps New Zealand meet its sustainability goals and positively impact the environment.

HWR Hydrogen is building a hydrogen refuelling station at our Allied Petroleum site at Gore. This station will produce up to 450 kg/day of hydrogen for filling dual-fuel heavy vehicles. This station is currently under construction and will be commissioned later in 2023.
