The Official Launch of MONOPOLY – Southland Edition

Join us at the 2022 Southland Santa Parade! An opportunity to be the first to play our giant Southland Monopoly game, and get a photo with Rich Uncle Pennybags (Mr Monopoly). Southland Edition games will also be available to purchase.  

This lifetime game will be a fun conversation piece to enjoy with your friends and family for years to come!.

Positions on the Monopoly – Southland Edition are not ranked, we have instead created a theme for the board around one of the Top 10 drives of the World – The Southern Scenic Route.

Your journey will begin in the rich cultural heart of Eastern Southland.  A majestic trip through a world of spectacular waterfalls and rugged coastlines leads to The Catlins Coast. Players will follow the pathway to Invercargill through to Stirling Point, Bluff. Visit Rakiura / Stewart Island, returning to the mainland to explore the pristine wilderness of Fiordland via the stunning, lush greens and blues of Western Southland and Northern Southland.

Along the way players will experience world class scenery, from snow-capped mountain peaks to beautiful lakes, stunning fiords, meandering rivers famous for fishing, fertile farmland, majestic wilderness, while showcasing a good mix of Southland attractions, activities, art and culture, events, wildlife, and southern delicacies.
