He Ringa Hāpai – Youth Sector Conference

Te Rourou, One Aotearoa Foundation, is proud to present a conference for building connection, capability and collaboration across the youth sector in Murihiku.

Supporting the release of the "I Feel Really Good When… strengthening youth mental health and wellbeing in Murihiku Southland' report, this conference is for anyone with an interest in influencing positive outcomes for rangatahi in Murihiku/Southland.

Through key note presentations and a range of workshops you will:

  • Connect and network with local and national individuals and organisations working across the youth sector
  • Explore research, data and workshops that can add to your own practice when working with rangatahi
  • Grow our collective knowledge base and explore potential directions to nurture and support the emerging ideas voiced by rangatahi
  • Explore why and how young people should be agents in the systems that effect them
  • Engage in conversations about co-design and participatory practices – connecting those who play a role in influencing the conditions for youth wellbeing
  • Hear about the incredible mahi of champions who support and promote wellbeing and positive youth development
