Are you ready to launch your food business? Let’s Make It happen.
An eight week intensive course to help you grow and scale your food business. COIN South in collaboration with Pioneer Food Hub, SIT and Great South will be delivering Make It. The business fundamentals for running a food based business, and practical experience of using a test commercial kitchen to get your product ready to take to market.
TIME
Intensive 8 week programme: Requires 4 hour time commitment each week, includes course sessions, mentoring and homework.

COURSE OUTLINE
- Introduction to Starting a Food or Beverage Business Meet others in the cohort & introduce them to your product
- Working in a Commercial kitchen In person sessions throughout the 8 weeks located at the Southern Food Pioneers Hub commercial test kitchen focusing on preparation methods,good kitchen practice & food safety.
- Business Fundamentals Understanding your customer and why they want your product
- Packaging & Scaling Ensure your product looks epic and think about how to grow and scale your business
- Marketing and Photography You know your product is epic, so learn how to tell and show others
- Everything Accounting Learn how to price your product, and create a healthy financial balance sheet.
- Pitch to the Panel Gain valuable individualised feedback from foodie experts about your product, and nuggets of wisdom they can pass on to you.
