Great South’s Decarbonisation Workshop Series is the perfect place to start if your business or organisation is looking to embark on a low-emission journey.

It equips you with the knowledge, tools, and resources to support you and your business on the emission-reduction journey. You’ll come away with a customised emissions reduction plan and clear actions for your business.

Reducing emissions can help you reduce risk and cost exposure for your business, improve profitability, strengthen your brand value, and make your business more attractive to staff, customers, funders and insurers.

Workshop Day 2: Measuring Your Carbon Footprint Measuring your carbon footprint and how to reduce waste Topics: Identifying organisational boundaries and scopes Measuring your current emissions with free tools available Carbon certification options Get your business first carbon footprint (baseline) Carbon reporting Zero waste principle

Workshop Day 3: Decarbonisation strategy Identifying carbon reduction opportunities and how to engage your team Topics: Identifying carbon abatement solutions Engaging your team to take action Draft your decarbonisation strategy to reach carbon net zero Reduction targets and how to monitor these

 

Morning tea and light lunch will be provided.

Participants will be eligible to access a reduced rate on carbon certification through our partnership with Ekos.
