Meet your speakers
Lou Baines – HR Consulting Team Manager
Lou brings a wealth of experience from both the UK and New Zealand, having held key roles such as People & Culture Manager at Millbrook Resort and People & Culture Advisor at Skyline Enterprises. During her time at Millbrook, she supported the team in achieving the prestigious Employer of the Year award at the Queenstown Chamber of Commerce Awards. Lou is passionate about driving positive workplace culture, supporting effective change management, and helping businesses attract, retain, and grow their talent. Lou also works closely with leaders to provide coaching and guidance to align people strategies with broader business goals.
Will Scully – HR Consultant
Will completed his Bachelor of Laws at Otago University and has previously worked as an employment lawyer. Will draws on his legal skills to help clients with their human resources and health and safety requirements. He has experience in a broad range of areas, including disciplinary procedures, performance management, restructurings and employee relations.
Jess Key – HR Consultant
Jess completed her Bachelor of Commerce at Southern Institute of Technology, majoring in Marketing and Management. She has worked previously in the Veterinary / Agriculture industry, bringing an understanding of rural New Zealand. Jess has experience in a broad range of areas including recruitment and workforce planning, performance management, policy and procedure development and team culture. She also has a passion for health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace.
