Regional Cruise Workshop

Find out about the return of cruise to the Southland and Fiordland region. Understand what is happening, what the likely time frame is and how cruise will look for us in the future.

Kevin O’Sullivan, CEO of the New Zealand Cruise Association, will discuss the cruise industry background and outlook. There will be a conversation around Destination Management Plans, the community and operators’ readiness, port issues, Fiordland Deed of Agreement details, the Milford Opportunities Project, and time for questions.

This FREE workshop is for anyone who is interested in the future of the Southland and Fiordland cruise industry. Local operators and members of the community are encouraged to come along!

Representatives from Great South, the New Zealand Cruise Association, South Port, Environment Southland, Southland District Council and Invercargill City Council will be there to answer any questions or concerns.

This workshop is FREE. Registrations are essential.
