Formed in 2000 as The Southland Export Forum and re-branded in 2012, Export Southland works to achieve four main purposes
- Represent exporters’ views on policy issues
- Promote networking, educational and social events
- Recognise significant business and individual contributions to the export sector
- Assist start-up export orientated businesses.
Valuable sponsorship from South Port NZ Ltd means Export Southland is open to both Chamber members, and non-members.
Local businesses can attend and contribute at Export Southland events, training, and will receive regular information and updates, as well as make valuable connections.
One of the highlights on the Export Southland calendar is the biannual Export Southland Awards.
