The Southland Business Chamber was delighted to host this month’s Business After 5 with Traffic Management Invercargill, where members were welcomed by owners Kerrian and Lara Simpson for an evening of generous hospitality, learning, and connection.
Guests enjoyed food and drinks while touring the impeccably clean and organised sheds – a clear reflection of the high standards and professionalism within the business. It was also great to have many of their staff and family attend, adding to the warm and inclusive atmosphere.
A standout moment was Kerrian’s heartfelt speech, where he spoke about the importance of public consideration around road cones and traffic management teams. His message was centred on care, safety, and the hope that every staff member goes home safely to their families each day. He also shared the journey of taking on the business as a leap of faith, and how hard work and strong values have helped it grow into an award‑winning operation.
