BB12 – Fonterra
Our adventure began at Fledwick Gates, where 22 Chamber Members gathered and piled into two vans, ready for a memorable trip to Fonterra. Touring the site was an absolute highlight for all of us. Southland is incredibly fortunate to have such an impressive and inspiring company within the district.
What stood out was the unwavering dedication and respect the employees have for their work—truly something special to witness. Equally inspiring was the staggering volume of product produced by this giant of a factory! The excitement surrounding the new boiler was palpable—it’s modern, efficient, and economically designed, making it a game-changer. Fonterra’s upcoming UHT plant has everyone buzzing with anticipation. Who knows what groundbreaking innovation they’ll unveil next!
