BDO Biz Bite – Cyber Security with Focus Technology Group
BDO brought another educational session to 25 on Don. Hosted in partnership with Focus Technology, this session delivered practical, jargon-free insights into the evolving cyber threat landscape. Attendees learned how AI-driven attacks, phishing scams, and human error contribute to 90% of breaches- and why cyber security should be treated like a fire drill: prepare, train, and test. With expert guidance from Stephen Wilcox and a swag bag of goodies, it was a powerful reminder that it’s not if you’ll be targeted, but when. Focus Technology has proudly served Invercargill businesses for 31 years.
