Business on Tap – Cra8 Fisheries
Last night members and guests of the Fiordland Business Association (FBA) and Southland Business Chamber were treated to a visit through the “Cra8” lobster factory in Te Anau.
A big thanks to Mike Schuck for showing everyone through his boutique factory which he set up in 2013.Cra8 has quota shares, annual catch entitlement, processing plant, a fishing boat, and operates in the remote coastal areas of Fiordland.
Mike exports solely to the discerning niche consumer market in China, where there is a strong awareness of environmental and sustainability considerations which holds with the ethos of Cra8 to provide a premium seafood product to this market.
