Create with Canva – Gore
Last night, the Southland Business Chamber team travelled to Eastern Southland to deliver a hands-on Create with Canva workshop at the Croydon Lodge—and this was no ordinary session!
Armed with their laptops and ready to dive in, participants learned by doing. This interactive, two-hour workshop was packed with practical tips, real-time design work, and plenty of creative inspiration.
By the end of the evening, attendees walked away with new skills and fresh confidence, including how to:
- Navigate Canva with ease
- Customise templates to reflect their brand
- Use images and graphics with greater impact
- Understand the power of brand consistency
- Apply simple but effective design principles
- Explore Canva’s AI-powered tools—like charts, mockups, and QR codes
