Employment: Getting it right from the start

This workshop covered obligations as an employer including:
- Understanding your obligations as an employer and the essential legal requirements for Employment Agreements
- Exploring the various types of agreements available and determine when each is appropriate
- Learning about workplace policies, their purpose, and how to implement them effectively
- Gaining a step-by-step understanding of the disciplinary process, from initiation to resolution
- Discovering how to develop and manage Performance Improvement Plans and navigate the next steps
- Understanding how living wages, equitable employment practices, and compliance with employment standards contribute to fair and ethical workplaces.
- Discovering strategies for transparent recruitment and equal opportunities for career advancement.
- Understanding the critical elements of conducting a legitimate restructure
- Staying informed with an overview of recent case law and legislation relevant to employers.
