Brews & Bites with Ethan Todd – Backlanz
Export Southland’s latest Brews & Bites event was a great evening of relaxed networking, good company and an inspiring local export story from Ethan Todd, founder of Invercargill-based Backlanz.
Ethan and Caitlin shared the Backlanz journey, from early product development and prototypes through to growing their range of ultra-lightweight rifle bipods and shooting accessories. They spoke openly about their export journey, including trade shows across America, the lessons learned along the way and the strong growth they are now seeing in that market.
Guests also enjoyed a hands-on look at the Backlanz products, including how the bipods connect and how the range has developed over time. It was another fantastic example of Southland innovation making an impact on the world stage.
