Gore & Tamworth – Growing Together in Business
The recent business luncheon, hosted by the Gore District Council with support of the Southland Business Chamber, was a resounding success, bringing together local businesses and leaders to strengthen ties with Gore’s Sister City, Tamworth, New South Wales.
Held in an atmosphere of collaboration and forward-thinking discussions, the event featured esteemed guests including Mayor Russell Webb, General Manager Paul Bennett, and Councillor Matt Sharpham from Tamworth Regional Council. These leaders shared valuable insights on economic growth, regional partnerships, and opportunities for expansion between Gore and Tamworth.
Joining the panel were Mayor Ben Bell and Bobbi Brown from Great South. The discussion, moderated by Sheree Carey, CEO of The Southland Business Chamber, sparked engaging conversations on key industries such as agriculture, engineering, tourism, and IT—exploring how innovation can pave the way for success.
