Government Insights and Questions with Hon. Louise Upston
The Southland Business Chamber was pleased to host Government Insights and Questions with Hon Louise Upston, bringing together local employers, business leaders and community representatives for an informative evening of discussion and connection.
Minister Upston shared insights into the Government’s priorities around workforce participation, employment, tourism and hospitality, with attendees having the opportunity to ask questions and share perspectives.
A highlight of the evening was learning more about ChamberWorks and the role it plays in supporting local employment pathways and workforce development. Attendees also had the opportunity to meet local Ministry of Social Development staff and the Regional Commissioner, helping to strengthen relationships between business, government and community support networks.
