Southland’s Business brains got succession-savvy at our Westpac Smarts event with Greg Allnutt!
Yesterday’s “Succession is a process – NOT an event!” gathering was a lively, refreshingly practical session. Hosted with Westpac Smarts, the event brought together a roomful of curious minds ready to future-proof their ventures and tackle the big “what ifs” with confidence.
Greg Allnutt-Partner at Pivot & Pace and Member of the NZ Order of Merit, led the charge with his trademark mix of wisdom, warmth, and wit. With decades of experience helping businesses navigate change, Greg didn’t just talk strategy, he made succession feel doable, even exciting. His session covered:
• Crafting a clear vision for the future (no crystal ball required!)
• Spotting and growing your next-in-line, whether you’ve got a team of 20 or just your dog as the office mascot
