Young Enterprise YES Mid Year Pitches
Lion Foundation Young Enterprise students did not disappoint despite the horrendous weather attending one of two inspiring days of YES Business Pitches – day one in Invercargill, and day two in Wanaka.
120 students (32 businesses) showcased their wonderful businesses in a dragon den’s pitch. Beeswax fire starters, lawn mowing services, noodle t-shirts, tea, and toothpaste were just a small array of products and services on offer.
We had three panels of judges who gave up their time over the two days. Kai pai judges for spending time away from the office to share your skills at the judging table.
We were pleased to award over $1,200 cash investments to a variety of YES businesses. This is a great help to our start up businesses in our local region.
