New business and employee factsheets
Ministry of Social Development (MSD) have created two new fact sheets to help businesses and their staff navigate their services, working with NZ Māori Tourism.
The fact sheets outline the range of services available, from employment and COVID payments through to help with essential costs, free coaching and redundancy support. The fact sheets should be particularly useful for businesses that are struggling and considering reducing staff hours or making people redundant, and their affected staff.

New Social Development App
A new Social Development Data app has gone live!
The app is designed to make it easy for more people to access the wealth of data MSD hold – including the latest benefit numbers and information on what’s happening in different regions. The app was developed in response to the demand for information about how many New Zealanders were taking up COVID-related assistance, and the impact of the pandemic on the labour market.
