Helen Robinson
Originally from England and having moved to Invercargill from Shetland (an archipelago in the Northern Isles of Scotland), Helen arrived with her family just before lockdown in 2020.
On moving to Southland Helen held the diverse role of GM for The Southland Charity Hospital and then as the Project Manager for The Hawthorndale Care Village. Helen has recently joined ICC as Commercial and Partnerships Team Leader for Te Unua Museum of Southland.
Helen understands the unique challenges faced by rural and remote communities and appreciates the strength in supporting local, working collaboratively and the importance of developing positive relationships.
“Working within and leading multiple teams, I understand that a positive culture and an open working environment result in a solution-focused dynamic to meet objectives and get the job completed”.
Helen sits on the Local Executive Committee for CCS Disability and her new role with the Te Unua Museum of Southland allows her to continue her passion for working on community projects that will also benefit our local economy.
Helen and her family are thoroughly enjoying the Southland lifestyle and look forward to continuing to explore all that the region has to offer.
