If you can’t come to us, we can come to you. All of our public training programmes can be delivered in-house exclusively for your team. In-house training offers you the flexibility, impact, confidentially and expertise when, where and the way you need it, and can maximise your time and budget.

The Leadership Academy

The purpose of the Southland Leadership Academy, which is completed over multi-days, is to provide leaders with the opportunity to build leadership capabilities through their own personal development and by learning from the experience of others.
Exclusive to Chamber members, The Leadership Academy is for people looking at developing their existing leadership experience and who have the potential for holding senior positions and governance roles.

We are delighted to partner with The Icehouse to deliver the Business Owners Programme – a capability development solution for Southland business owners.
This is a practical three-month programme for business owners – where you’ll have the opportunity to learn new business skills, network and redesign your business for the future.
The programme is designed for owners of SME businesses with revenue between $1M to $3M+.
Project Management

In partnership with Project Results, The Chamber offers the popular Project Management PRINCE2® qualification. Courses include:
- Foundation – An intensive three-day course delivered through presentations, discussions, exercises and exam practice.
- Practitioner – This two-day course follows the Foundation course and uses scenario-based training focusing on the application of PRINCE2 under different project environments
and scenarios.

Regional Business Partner (RBP)
The Southland Chamber of Commerce offers services that are registered with the Regional Business Partner (RBP) funds.
Small and medium sized businesses may qualify for funding to help pay for services such as training workshops and courses that build the management capabilities of their owners and key decision making managers.
